EventsEventsTUIBS student trip to CIPD Festival of Work 2025DescriptionTeesside University International Business School students are invited to register for an overnight trip to London to attend CIPD's Festival of Work across two days, 11-12 June 2025. Students on any TUIBS course are eligible to register. Unfortunately, students from other Schools are not eligible to participate. Ineligible students will be refunded. The trip will cost £100, which includes coach travel and accommodation. This first £50 instalment will secure your place, but you must pay the second £50 instalment by Friday 25 April. You will be responsible for registering for your own conference ticket. The ticket is free and the trip leader will inform you when registration is open.

During this 3 night, 4 day trip you will the opportunity to visit innovative businesses, participate in cultural excursions, and have some free time to explore the city. TUIBS student trip to Krakow & AuschwitzDescriptionJoin us on a visit to the Polish city of Krakow, where you will experience a popular tourist city which attracts diverse tourists, from party-seeking stag groups to those looking for culture and heritage. Guided by dark tourism researcher Bev Boden, you will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and other key sites in Krakow, including its Jewish quarter. Please note the following: This trip is for TUIBS students only. If you require a visa to travel to Europe, this will be your own responsibility. We are not responsible for assisting you with arranging a visa or paying associated costs.
