This booking is for the NCTJ Shorthand exam only (any speed). By booking onto this exam you will be booked onto the next available exam scheduled for your speed. For guidance on available dates please discuss with your Course Leader and Shorthand Tutor. Please note any bookings made with less than 3 weeks before the examination date will not be accommodated.

Please note this exam will be held online in accordance with NCTJ remote exam requirements. Details relating to this can be obtained from your Course Leader, Shorthand Tutor  and should be available via BlackBoard.​

Please note that your first and second attempt of the shorthand exam at each speed will be funded by the School of Arts & Creative Industries, and you should select the free option when registering. 

All subsequent attempts will be charged ar the NCTJ current exam rate. Please ensure you select the correct option when registering for exams. Should you select the free option when registering for exams but you have already used your funded place you will not be registered and will be unable to sit the exam.

No students will automatically registered for the exam unless they complete the registeration process and pay the exam fee if required.
