DescriptionParents play a crucial role in shaping a young person’s experience in sport, but engaging them effectively can be one of the biggest challenges clubs and coaches face. This workshop is designed to help you better understand, connect with, and support the parents within your sporting environment. You’ll explore what parental engagement really means and why it matters, while gaining insight into the modern sporting parent: their motivations, pressures, and expectations. The session will also unpack both the positives and common challenges that parents bring to sport, helping you feel more confident in navigating conversations and managing differing ambitions.
