Throughout the course, you will cover: ​

• Power BI an Introduction, demonstrating reporting and analytical capabilities beyond Excel.
• Hands-on activity: “Getting Started with Power BI".
• Advanced Features in Power BI, this will include data visualisation and analysis and an understanding of how Power BI can be a gateway technology to leverage data from different sources.
• Hands-on Activity: “How to design your first dashboard".
• How to use Power BI across the entire business providing in-depth insights into the operation and performance of the business. ​

In addition to theoretical concepts, you will engage in hands-on activities designed to reinforce your understanding and practical skills in data modelling and visualisation using Microsoft PowerBI. Furthermore, you will hear about industry-related case studies to provide practical and informative solutions. ​

This course is delivered face to face, Wednesday 8th January 2025, 9am-5pm in room IT1.31, main campus, Teesside University
