The module is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop and undertake more complex research skills. These include data handling and data conversion and understanding measures of heterogeneity such as tau and I-squared. An understanding of meta-analysis techniques including fixed-effect and random effect meta-analysis. This module will also allow students to further explore the process of developing and evaluating complex interventions, including process evaluation.
