Art From Elsewhere Exhibition CatalogueDescriptionCatalogue to accompany Art from Elsewhere Exhibition In this new publication accompanying the latest Hayward Touring exhibition, supported by the Art Fund, curator David Elliott brings together a personal selection of recently acquired international works that have transformed public art collections across the UK. The 70 works featured are drawn from museums and galleries in five regions that were awarded significant grants under the Art Fund International scheme to purchase contemporary works by major international artists over a period of five years. Art from Elsewhere presents an array of works on paper, video, sculpture, painting and photography, reflecting on the realities of global change and the post-colonial experience, examining questions of trade and exchange, urban and international migration, frontiers and failed utopias.
