The aim of this module is to investigate Distributed Control System concepts and their applications in engineering. It focuses on the design characteristics and internal architecture of Distributed Control Systems and how they interact.

Assessment
Evidence will be provided from a single component of assessment, comprising four elements, equally weighted, in the form of an in-course assessment. Each assessment comprises a set of, on average 5-10 short answer questions which are related to the sequence and content of the lessons provided within the learning materials.
